so many cards...so little time

what a busy weekend.  With Father's day approaching, I had to make a little stash of cards to offer at work.  I had fun making them, and some others.

first I made my cousin a bday card.
I loved making this one-and used a masking technique.

Then it was time to work on finishing a couple orders:
first up: a set of note cards and box to hold them in:
there is a set of 10 (2 of each colour)  I kept them simple so they can be used for anything.

the box holds all 10 and envelopes.  I love making this box, and the flowers on the front serve not only for decoration, but keeps it closed as well.

then I got to work on the father's day cards:

I love the "packed for" stamps.  using my stamp-a-majig, I was able to line them up so it looked like a continuous stamped image.  I will have to play more with this stamp.

I really like that it works vertical too!  Simple, but it works.

this one was a bear to work with.  No wonder I hate stripes!!! LOL  but I do think it came out nicely.
and the nice thing-the pocket will hold a gift card for Dad!
*ok, so Dad may not shop at A C Moore... it's all I had lol

I stamped this image when I was at a play day with another demonstrator.  I just knew this image would work for Father's day (and it'll work for birthday as well)  I water coloured the image, kind of relaxing!

I love how these came out.  Just placed the greeting in a different location.
the idea came from another card I saw from a card club I'm in.  I switched it up a bit and made it for Father's day with an airplane.  The distressed look, goes well with the Well Worn paper (retired)

This card was from a card club.  I changed up the greeting to make it for Father's day.  I like this stamp set (took a while to grow on me) but I think I'll have to get it LOL

as if I wasn't busy with all these cards...I had some other birthday ones to make as well...

apothecary birthday

birthday cupcake

everyday elegance birthday
Betsy's Blooms Bday

Thanks for looking :)
