having a long weekend is always good.  I enjoyed time with my boyfriend and friends this past weekend as well.  but of course I had to go stay cool in the igloo!

The weekend started off with a play date at my upline's house.  We made 5 cards with some of the new product.  Even a strip of the new fabric!!

I love the new fancy fan embossing folder!  that's one of the new items on my *long* wish list LOL

but by using the fabric this way, I love how it came out.  I will have to get the new fabric like this-it comes in 5 colours, so I'm excited!!!

I love this stamp set as well!!  the new in-colour colours are so lush!  I can't wait to make more projects using those colours!
I love the framelits used in this one.  And the fact that they coordinate with stamp sets as well BONUS!  lol  you can't go wrong with brown and pink...classic combination!

this stamp set is fun.  I love that you can personalize it-again with a coordinating framelit and make it a birthday or anniversary card.
I didn't think I'd be too into the Betsy's Blooms set.  but I do like it.  I'll eventually get it (as I have a few others I *HAVE* to have first) lol  but I do like how this came out.

then over the weekend, I worked on my current in-colour card sets...I am working on some note cards with them (pics to come soon)
but I made these birthday ones, as I needed a bunch and they needed to be quick and easy:  using the in colour card stock, ink and DSP, I stamped the images with Party Punch (retired) on whisper white card stock. then punched it out with the coordinating punch (also retired)  I also used the presents from Patterned Party.  I think they came out great :)

What a great weekend for creating!  I was supposed to attend a playday at my upline's house, but that's rescheduled to this Friday-I can't wait!!!

Saturday was our team meeting, and we made 5 cards and a book mark.  The book mark is still being finished, but the cards I completed at home yesterday.  They came out great!   And I love that it's with a lot of the new product!!
I love the vintage look of this Christmas card.  I haven't decided what I'm doing for my Christmas cards yet this year...but this is pretty nice!  I am in love with the new fancy fan embossing folder and the Apothecary Accents Framelits!
a cute new technique with this card, and I can see me making more of these kinds of cards!  if you put the folded end of the card in the polka dot embossing folder (to the 4th row of dots) and run it through the big shot, then you'll tape down that section, it becomes more square-ish and it's a nice little design to the card.
I love the new In-Colour shades!  I'm not a big "flower" person, but I like the effect of the new vintage faceted designer buttons on one of the flowers.  so cute!!!
I think this was one of my favourite cards to make this weekend.  I love the stamp (and it coordinates with the framelits) and the watercolour effect of the flower.  simply stunning :)
this one was a little more work-but turned out nice.  a lot of "fussy cutting" but it's a nice card all the same.  I love that frame stamp!  and I've never thought of just stamping an image down the side.  I will be looking at my other stamps to see if I can do the same with them.

on Sunday I worked on a few things as well

and while this is not stampin up related-I had to make this card for my cousin for his birthday.  I know he'll get a kick out of it!
An order for a masculine "good luck" card.  I love the SU! Well worn paper!!! I am so sad to see that go, but I've stocked up on a few packs lol
These were card fronts made for Saturday.  It uses the 2011-2012 In Colour card stock and DSP.  I also stamped one of the mixed bunch images using the in colour inks and added a designer brad.  I love how these came out, and I am working on another set/series for some note card gift sets!

A co-worker asked me if I could make her a graduation card for her.  Her friend is graduating from Villanova, so she sent me the school colours.  I worked on it last night, and I love how it came out!  It's a cased card from another site, with a little tweak here and there.

I love that SU Owl punch!!!  There are so many things you can do with it-besides the owl... LOL it makes a dang good PENGUIN!!! ;)

I love my busy weekends in the igloo!!!  Especially if I manage to crank out a few cards lol

this weekend I managed to do just that. I needed to replenish some cards from my stash at work I sell...

so here are some that I worked on:

the first set was from a card class I went to.  It featured some stamps that are retiring this month!  I am so sad to see that triple treat flower go.  It was so versatile!!!

On Saturday, I made some more birthday cards and started some Father's Day cards...
this one was cased from another board.  I like the use of the doily punch and it just all came together nicely!

these two were cased as well...and I changed up the paper a little.  I love the bright colours and it makes it so fun!
I love my upline's ideas.  Sharing these next two but twisting it up a little, this one was fun! I used the Packed for Father's Day stamp that was in the last Mini Occasions catalogue.  I like how it turned out.

colours are Chocolate Chip and crumb cake and whisper white
this one was quite time consuming!  It's made from the stamp set-Send Me Soaring.  It was only available during the Mini Occasions catalogue that just ended in April.  it's a cute set.  I also added the "Dad" and "Happy Father's Day" from other stamp sets.

colours are Marina Mist, whisper white, and Crumb Cake  I love how it turned out!!

after a much needed break-weekend away with a bunch of axe murdering friends (and a few new ones) I managed to get quite a bit done.

first and foremost-I finished the 21 ducky card order. my customer was very pleased with  them! I love how it came out.

next was a sympathy card for a friend that just lost her mother-and had to miss the retreat-but she stopped by on Saturday night.

then I worked on an assortment of cards: Mother's day:

I found out on Friday night, a dear friend got engaged...so of course I had to make her a card:

Saturday night I got an order for 2 wedding cards-
